...while waiting for a tram...

..that at times I wish I had a little computer in my head to write all the stuff that goes through it, because when I sit down to put it in black and white it's disappeared! This morning on my walk I had all kinds of plans to change the world, adjust my life and move forward and now those thoughts and plans are gone! Please come back pearls of wisdom!!

...as another day passes quietly...

...That I really can't be bothered sitting around waiting for customers sometimes! Thank heavens for a computer and wireless connection because I'd probably go crazy otherwise. It's all doom and gloom out there on the retail front and it really doesn't help anyone's situation when people aren't buying! Retailers are consumers too, and if they're not making money they're not spending money. It truly is a vicious cycle. Unless you own a bar. Everyone's drinking their sorrows away.

...while playing a game of Solitaire...

...that the expression "Out of sight, out of mind" is far to easy a trap to fall into. Especially with friends and family who are overseas. We spend so much time with some of these people growing up, and as life takes us on different journeys we almost forget the place we have in each others lives. Sometimes, it's even close friends and family who live in the same city, state or country that we forget about. Each week I might reach to someone I haven't spoken to in a while and just say 'Hey!". Then there'll be no regrets. You never receive until you give!

...That I have a lot of useless thoughts running through my head in the morning, but sometimes there is actually a moment of clarity and I realised that this blog was a little idea that had been floating around in the back there for ages. I have a dedicated food blog, and blog about the move over to Melbourne and now it can just be about me!
